Stranglewood: A Murder Mystery Dinner
1800s summer nights in the Berkshires: there’s no better place. Music is playing, drinks are flowing, croquet in the courtyard… what can go wrong? The answer is “murder.”
This murder mystery dinner party (18+) is both an interactive game and a delicious multi-course feast. Characters will be pre-assigned, dinner courses will serve as clues, and guests will interact throughout the night to figure out who committed the heinous crime.
FUNNY FOOD
Food is all about memories, textures, colors, shapes, sounds... all avenues through which we can also tingle our funny senses! At this creative & funky dinner, we're going to explore how food helps us laugh, love and express.
Bites From Books
This lunch is a literary feast for book lovers of all ages and explores food, literature and history. Taste some of the food from famous literary meals. Experience the sensation of words converting to flavor, and learn more about how our taste buds can unlock all of our creative mindsets. Guests do not need to read any books ahead of time: an open mind and love for food & words are required!
Pride Dinner
At this dinner, we will celebrate the world of queer food. “What is queer food?” We will be answering that question while honoring the contributions of queerness to our food culture, during but not exclusive to Pride Month! LGBTQIA+ and allies are welcome to attend.
Springtime, Southeast Asia
Spring vegetables and the bright, punchy flavors of South(east) Asia cuisine. We’ll specifically be diving into the cuisines of Vietnam and Bangladesh - all from the cozy dining room of Bondhu! We are being joined by guest chef, Tu Le:
The youngest of twelve, born in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, Tu Le is a first generation American farmer, floral designer, chef, storyteller, artist, activist and land steward. The co-owner of 328North, a small 1/2 acre farm, he has been farming on land he shares with his partner, Matt Bertles. Using the farm as his current medium, Tu connects with his Vietnamese Culture and shares his experiences with his community from seed to chopstick. Tu and Matt use 328North as a creative lab to push the boundaries and have conversations on the possibilities that small scale farming, creativity, and food can provide. Tu is currently writing a book, which will cover all the practices he currently immerses himself in.
