Open A Pop-Up Restaurant in the Berkshires.

Whether you’re a professional chef ready to seamlessly open a short-term restaurant or a skilled home cook who has dreamed of serving your culinary creations to the public, we are excited to share our space with you - while giving Berkshires residents and tourists access to new flavors & experiences!

  1. Fill out the application below. Tell us about your concept, available dates, and kitchen equipment/tool requirements and a little bit about yourself. Please wait 5 business days for a response, which will include a decision and pricing information (which is dependent on your proposal).

  2. If your proposed pop-up is aligned with Bondhu’s mission and availability, we will have a 1 hour planning call over Zoom to walk through the logistics, address questions, provide a virtual tour and create a promotion plan.

  3. When your scheduled pop-up dates are near, we will touch base to finalize the projected number of guests, finalize room layout, and determine any other last minute requirements.

“How does it work?”

Bondhu provides…

  • A fully equipped commercial kitchen, including most standard cooking equipment & tools.

  • A beautifully decorated and historic dining room that seats up to 70 people; tables, chairs, silverware, plateware and glassware included (linens can be included at additional cost).

  • Printed menus for guests (with information supplied by the pop-up chef, and supplemental information provided by Bondhu).

  • A full bar dating back to the 1800s is available for use if you are providing a beverage pairing - bartender not included and serving alcohol requires compliance with all Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission Regulations laws.

  • Promotional support in the Berkshire region and through online channels to increase attendance.

  • Discounted on-site accommodations (AirBnB), if desired.

You, chef, provide…

  • Overall control over the menu and service, including ingredients and any special equipment required.

  • Sous chefs, servers, and any other labor (Bondhu can potentially help coordinate on an ad-hoc basis if you are not bringing your own staff. Applicants bringing their own team are preferred - usually by both parties!).

  • Linen rentals, décor (beyond some included basics), flowers, and any other items specific to your pop-up.

  • Marketing efforts via your social media and networks.
